Definition Paragraph

Capacitor is an electric circuit element used to store charge temporarily. It is used in power supplies, amplifiers, signal processors, oscillators and logic gates. The capacitance of a capacitor depends primarily upon its shape and size and upon the relative permittivity and of the medium between the plates, in vacuum, in air, and in most gases. It is also look like a tiny battery that charge and discharge rapidly. Capacitor has 8 types, variable, electrolytic, spherical, power, ceramic, tantalum, mica, and paper.
